PPF on top of a vinyl wrap, is that even possible? The answer is YES!
Earlier this year we had the pleasure of working on a returning customers Porsche Carrera 2 after they had their front bumper re-wrapped by another local company.
The customer wanted to protect their new wrap as the old wrap showed signs of stone chips very easily. We used Gyeon Enhance Paint Protection Film to cover the front bumper of this Porsche Carrera 2 to ensure the new vinyl wrap under the PPF was protected for years to come.
This is the first of many vehicles we have applied PPF too that have a vinyl wrap under them. Vinyl is great for changing the colour of your car but it doesn't offer the same protection as PPF. The PPF enhances the colour, maintains and improves gloss of the vinyl and ensures that the vinyl and paint underneath stay stone chip free for years to come.
After we applied the PPF to the front bumper we then machine polished the rest of the wrap (yes, machine polished) with Gyeon Q2M PPF Renew to rejuvenate the wrap, improve gloss and prepare it for a layer of Gyeon Q2 Can Coat PRO EVO.
