We carried out our Enhancement Detail with Gyeon Ceramic Coatings on this 2002 Ferrari 360 Spider - Ceramic Coatings aren't just for new cars!
This customer brought their new Ferrari 360 Spider into our studio to rejuvenate the factory Rosso Corsa paintwork and deep clean the soft top roof before protecting the finish with Gyeon Ceramic Coatings.
Following a thorough decontamination wash including the use of iron remover, tar remover, degreaser and clay bars, we performed a multi-stage machine polish on the Rosso Corsa Red paintwork of this 360 Spider to remove a variety of swirl marks and light scratches accumulated over the vehicles 22 years on the road.
This entailed an 'initial cut' process with a combination of polishing pads and compound in order to remove as much paintwork defect and damage as was safe to do so. We followed this up with a refinement stage using a lighter combination of pads and polish designed to restore the paintworks original gloss and colour clarity.
After this it was time to move on to the ceramic coatings and protect the finish we achieved. The customer opted for our top line paintwork ceramic coating; Gyeon Q2 Infinite to ensure the best chemical protection and ease of maintenance going forward.
Additionally the soft top roof was protected using Gyeon Q2 Fabric Coat to prevent damage and discolouration from the UK weather
